Bell Ringing at the Cathedral

The Durham Cathedral Guild of Bellringers welcomes visiting ringers — further information can be found on their website. A history of the bells can also be read.

Thursdays (practice)

7.30 pm - 9.00 pm

The belfry is open on the last Saturday in October from 1.30 pm - 4.00 pm. This is an opportunity for the general public to visit the ringing chamber, the belfry and to see demonstration of bellringing. Contact the Cathedral for further details.
