Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent.
Join us on Ash Wednesday to mark the start of Lent and get an ash cross on your forehead.
As our Lenten journey toward Easter begins, we receive ashes upon our foreheads as a sign of our mortality, and our need for the love of God to bring us new life.
Ash Wednesday services:
- 7.30am: Holy Communion Book of Common Prayer in the Feretory.
- 8.30am: Morning Prayer
- 12.30pm: Eucharist for Ash Wednesday with the Imposition of Ashes at the High Altar
- 5.30pm: Sung Eucharist for Ash Wednesday with the Imposition of Ashes in the Nave
