Technology Business Partner

Location: Durham Cathedral
Contract: Permanent
Salary: c. £32,000 per annum
Hours: The normal weekly timetable is as follows, (subject to review): 37.5 hours per week

Job description

Durham Cathedral is looking to appoint to a new post of Technology Business Partner.  Following a programme of change and reorganisation, we are looking for an individual who can support our varied departments and provide a business partner service to our teams to ensure the ongoing development of technology to meet the business requirements and overall outcomes of the Cathedral.

 

This post will help to drive the Cathedral forwards into new ways of working and the use of new technologies. This will include administration of the current systems and management of all digital and technology contracts.

 

If you have experience in the promotion and development of continuous digital service improvement activities, including the development of corporate systems across an organisation, then we want to hear from you.

Senior Finance Officer

Location: Durham Cathedral

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to take a leading role in a team that is responsible for the management of all financial activity within Durham Cathedral.  Your significant experience within a similar financial role, complemented with an expert knowledge of payroll and VAT, will demonstrate your ability to oversee production of management accounts and preparation of salaries within tight deadlines.

 

You will be proficient in the use of Finance software and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and possess a minimum of 4 GCSE’s (including Maths and English) or equivalent and an Accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.) You will also have had previous staff supervision responsibilities.
