From half day to full days, we offer secondary school and college trip sessions to bring learning alive.

1,000 year old classroom

Our sessions support work in all areas of the National Curriculum, Religious Education syllabus and AQA GCSE History.

We use our architecture to look at ratios and geometry, encourage students to consider the demands of daily monastic life or the impact of World War One. We also offer a specialised GCSE AQA History tour.

Learning in the fresh air

The Cathedral owns much of the city’s riverbanks and woodlands.

We offer a unique orienteering challenge for students building on navigation skills and teamwork.

Accessible for all

Our Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) specialists can create a bespoke tour for your group. We also have quiet days set aside for learners who would prefer them.

Most of the Cathedral is accessible to wheelchair users. Please inform us of any special needs your group has so we can make your visit run as smoothly as possible.
