Open Treasure is open Monday to Saturday from 10.00am-5.00pm (last admission 4.00pm), and Sundays from 12.30pm-5.00pm (last admission 4.00pm).
Please note, Open Treasure will be closed on Good Friday 14 April. Open Treasure will also be closed from Sunday 11 June until Monday 19 June as we prepare for Magna Carta and the Forest Charters.

Take a journey through the most intact medieval monastic buildings in the UK and discover 2,000 years of history through a series of interactive exhibits for visitors of all ages. Explore the magnificent Monks' Dormitory and enjoy our rolling exhibition programme in the Collections Gallery before arriving in The Great Kitchen, which currently houses a spectacular metalwork display. The Treasures of St Cuthbert will be on permanent display in the Great Kitchen from Saturday 29 July 2017 after a period of environmental monitoring.
