Watch online: Dupré: Le Chemin de la Croix - Organ Meditation

Sunday 21 March to Tuesday 20 April at 12:00 AM

Durham Cathedral Organist Daniel Cook, and Sub-Organist Joseph Beech perform Marcel Dupré's Le Chemin de la Croix (Stations of the Cross) as an organ meditation on this Passion Sunday. Accompanying poetry by Paul Claudel is read by North-East born actress Charlie Hardwick.

The work was written in 1931, following a collaboration between the Professors of Literature and Music at the Conservatoire in Brussels. Each musical movement is preceded by short, powerful poetry by Paul Claudel on each station of the cross.

Watch the broadcast for free on our Youtube channel, and our Facebook page. The performance is available online for one month after 21 March.
