Join us for this special service, which starts in darkness as a lone Chorister sings Once In Royal David’s City. It continues with carols old and new and readings recounting the Christmas story.
As this is a popular service, we recommend arriving 60-90 minutes early. You will need to queue outside the Cathedral before the service so please dress for the weather.
On Christmas Eve, the Durham Miners' Association Band will be performing from 1pm to 1.45pm.
No tickets are needed to attend this service.
