Children from ages 0 to 16 are invited to join Junior Church, an exciting opportunity every Sunday during term time. Explore the Christian Gospel through storytelling and craft activities, lead by professional leaders and volunteers.
Junior Church gathers in the South Transept (front of the church on the right). If you are new to the Cathedral or a visitor, your child is welcome to join us. Please take your child to the South Transept and complete a consent form with one of the leaders.
You can then take a seat in the service and collect your child afterwards from the South Transept. Children stay in church for the start of our worship and then go through to the Chapter House for story-telling and craft activities and then re-join the service at the distribution of Communion when they receive a blessing.
There is also a ‘baby zone’ in the Chapter House for pre-schoolers but at least one parent must remain with children aged 0 - 4 years.
Families are invited to join in the Galilee Chapel for refreshments at 11am.
