What is this online quiet day about?

Durham Cathedral runs Online Quiet Days every two months to encourage people to explore their own spiritual journey, and think deeply about issues and themes that affect us all. This event takes place entirely online.

Who is it for?

Everyone is welcome to join us, whether you've stumbled across this for the first time or you watch our online services often.

What will be happening?

  • 8am An Introduction to the Quiet Day
  • 8.30am Morning Prayer
  • 10am First Reflection
  • 12pm Midday Prayer
  • 2.30pm Second Reflection
  • 5.30pm Evening Prayer
  • 7.30pm Discussion Group (for the Cathedral’s Community of Prayer)
  • 8.45pm Compline
