Our celebrations of God becoming man in Jesus Christ at Christmas reach their climax on Friday 2 February when we mark the ancient feast of Candlemas when Mary and Joseph presented the Christ Child in the Temple in Jerusalem in an act of thanksgiving.
See the cathedral filled with candles at Evensong at 5.30pm.
