Tribute to Hans Zimmer & Film Favourites Illuminated

For over sixteen years, the Durham Festival of Remembrance has established itself as one of the North East's most significant acts of commemoration. Held within the historic surroundings of Durham Cathedral, the Festival brings together military and civilian communities to honour the service and sacrifice of generations who have served our nation.

When a stranger washes up on the shores of England, a community in turmoil is forced to confront their attitudes towards tolerance, survival, blame, nostalgia, and the changing world around them. 
Se Gæst | The Guest is written and choreographed by Anthony Lo-Giudice, a contemporary artist based in the North East of England, and tells its story through dance, live music and storytelling. 
The performance explores identity, belonging and connection, reflecting on what it means to call England home today.
