Our 700+ volunteers are crucial to the daily rhythm of the Cathedral, whether they’re welcoming our visitors or working behind the scenes.

It is their dedication, enthusiasm and energy which helps to make this such a special place.

Who volunteers?

We welcome volunteers from any age group, background, all faiths and none.

We are particularly keen to hear from those with a positive approach and an ability to communicate with diverse visitors including our many tourists.
