With extensive experience in facilities management, Michael has a strong background in sustainability, heritage site maintenance, and project management.
He has led initiatives to improve energy efficiency, implement net zero strategies, and enhance visitor and staff facilities. Prior to his role at Durham Cathedral, he has also managed facilities at Sunderland’s Academy of Light, ensuring high standards of maintenance and operational efficiency in a professional sports environment.
