Learning more from you

As part of our Vision 2033 we aim to improve accessibility and inclusion for worshippers, visitors, volunteers, and staff. By 2033, our aim is that ‘the building is as accessible as possible, so that people feel welcomed into it and able to engage fully with its story and the events and services which take place today’.

As part of this commitment, we recently commissioned Embed Inclusion Ltd to undertake a full access and inclusion audit of the Cathedral, the grounds, our offices, and our communications and social media. The audit is evidence-based; it looks at where we are today in line with the law, and good practice standards.

We are working alongside Embed to host a series of listening groups that will help us to dive deeper into your experiences at the cathedral. We want to hear about your experiences, listen to your insights, and learn from your ideas. This will help to ensure that the recommendations and actions include the findings from the audits and from lived experiences.

The listening groups will be hosted at the Learning Centre, lasting around two hours:

Sunday 25 January:

  • Worshipping Community - 11.30am
  • Visitors - 2pm
Monday 26 January:
  • Visitors - 1pm

If you are interested in attending, please register here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r...

As a thank you for giving your time, you will receive a voucher to use in the Undercroft Cafe.
