Queen by Candlelight

Friday 22 April to Saturday 23 April at 7:30 PM

Following a run of sell-out shows across the UK in 2021, experience an incredible night of Queen Anthems performed by candlelight at Durham Cathedral.


Featuring a live cast of West End singers, accompanied by an incredible live rock band, experience Queen as you have never heard them before.

The concert will feature some of the most iconic songs of all time including Bohemian Rhapsody, It's a Kind of Magic, We Are The Champions, Who Wants to Live Forever and many more.

A fully licensed bar will be open for the duration of the event.

  • Saturday 23 April, 7.30pm
Doors open at 6.45pm. The event ends at 10pm.

Keeping everyone safe
Upon entry to the cathedral, all visitors over the age of 18 must be prepared to show either:

  • a NHS COVID Pass as proof of vaccination
  • a negative PCR or lateral flow test taken up to 48 hours before the event
  • or a positive PCR test from within the last 6 months

Please can you have this pass or evidence readily available when you approach the cathedral. Anybody over the age of 18 who doesn't have the evidence requested will not be permitted access to the cathedral.
