ABOUT SONAT VOX: Sonat Vox was founded in 2015 and has quickly become one of the Germany’s leading men’s choirs. In four short years, the choir has gained national recognition after winning 1st prize at many competitions, including the German Music Council Competition, Bavarian Choir Competition, and the International Harmony Festival. All members of Sonat Vox are former choirboys of the famous, Windsbach Boys Choir, where they trained and performed together for many years. It was these formative years which inspired the birth of Sonat Vox and provided the choir with the platform for excellence and harmonic precision for which they are now known. The ensemble’s repertoire ranges from Renaissance and Baroque to Romantic and Contemporary, and whilst sacred music forms the core of their literature, the choir has also extended their performance library to include secular pieces and German folk songs. In addition to a robust bass and tenor section, the choir boasts an impressive male alto section, offering the listener an extraordinary musical timbre at the highest level.
