The completion of the Cuthbert Centre for Pilgrimage and Prayer marks an important milestone in our long-term vision to strengthen pilgrimage, prayer and spiritual engagement in the North East and beyond.

Please note: Due to Durham University Matriculations taking place, the main Cathedral will be closed all day to visitors. The Restaurant will be open from 9.30am and the Shop and Museum from 1.00pm, with entry via The College at the rear of the Cathedral.
Monday - Saturday 09:30am to 4:30pm
Sunday 12:00pm to 4:00pm
There is no admission charge to visit Durham Cathedral. We ask all our visitors to donate £5, if they are able, to support the cathedral's future.
