In the new term we will have more guided activities for schools available.

Guided Cathedral visits

Stories of Saint Cuthbert - This interactive tour of the Cathedral will give your children an understanding of who Cuthbert was through role-play and costumes and why this great Cathedral was built to house his remains.

Special Places - In this interactive tour we will explain everything from how Durham was founded right through to how it’s used today and why people visit from all over the world. This session is designed to support County Durham’s RE Syllabus.

General Cathedral tour -This tour will provide your group with a brief history of the Cathedral and how it is used for worship today.
